Wow! What a year, right? I would like to wish Jimmi and our visitors a very happy new year! Thank you to those who visit and follow us on twitter. This will be our last update for 2017 and it is a review of the entire year summed up and featuring images from the events Jimmi attended, to the photo shoots released and the projects that aired. I hope you enjoy the recap!

Our favorite actor, Jimmi, started the year off with being nominated along with his Westworld co-stars for Outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. He also spent January in London filming. Under the Silver Lake went into Post-Production. Jimmi attended the ‘Women’s March’ in London [link]. He attended Esquire’s celebration of March cover star James Corden and the Mavericks of Hollywood on February 8th. Also in February; The release ofthe first season of Hap and Leonard on DVD and bluray. The interview and photoshoot that Jimmi did with Rogue Magazine. He attended the 19th annual Costume Designers Guild Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. And Jimmi was cast as Detective Russell Poole in USA’s pilot Drama ‘Unsolved’. He also attended Mardi Gras 2017 where he joined the Orpheus Krewe.

In March, Jimmi and the cast of the upcoming drama Unsolved began filming the pilot, in which Jimmi posted a video to instagram. GQStyle featured Jimmi in their Spring Issue in an editorial titled Chill Suits. A quote is featured, “No matter which job you’re doing in acting, you have to be doing something different, or else you’re not doing your job.“ in the magazine and the interview was posted digitally online as well as a video featuring what Jimmi had in his pockets at the moment. theimagista.com featured an interview as well as photoshoot that they had with Jimmi. Jimmi posted to twitter and instagram about the featurette and called the theimagista clever and stated that they asked him thoughtful questions. Westworld featured at Paleyfest on March 25th, Jimmi attended the event with his co-stars. LA Times took the chance to interview Jimmi as well as take a few portraits during the Paleyfest event.

In May and June; GoldDerby uploaded the video and posted the article they did with Jimmi talking about Westworld. USA picked up the Unsolved pilot to series. Jimmi attended HBO’s ‘Westworld’ For Your Consideration Event held at the Saban Media Center, he also signed autographs for fans alongside the other attendees. TheHollywoodReporter released a photo session as well as three corresponding videos of Jimmi as well as other ‘Supporting Actor’ Emmy Awards contenders posing for a group photo as well as answering questions behind the scenes. Jimmi attended the Grand Opening Of The Wallis Annenberg PetSpace. On the 29th, via Westworld email updates, it was announced that Jimmi would be attending SDCC with his fellow cast members.

July; It was announced that Jimmi would moderate the Psych panel at SDCC. Jimmi took to twitter to share a video and a tweet about the Comic Con weekend ahead. [?] [?] Jimmi attended the ‘Psych’ Reunion And Movie Sneak Peek at SDCC where he moderated the panel as well as confirmed that he would indeed be in the film reprising his role as Mary Lightly. While at Comic Con, Jimmi stopped by WIRED for an interview where he discussed projects, hinted at some he could not discuss yet and gave two book recommendations. The first; Robots of Dawn by Isaac Asimov and the second; The Eyes of the Dragon by Stephen King. He also stopped by VICELAND Presents What Would Diplo Do and had a portrait session at Hard Rock Hotel. On July 22nd, Jimmi attended Comic Con for Westworld. He joined the cast and producers for the Westworld Panel as well as the signing. The cast and producers had interviews with ET, Entertainment Weekly and more. On July 30th, Jimmi confirmed via twitter that William would indeed return in Season Two of Westworld. At Comic-Con for Westworld, Jimmi had an interview with TV Guide that was featured in the TV Guide special Comic-Con issue.

August and September; Jimmi broke down the entire season one of Westworld in 6 minutes for Vanity Fair which was absolutely phenomenal and packed with ‘spoiler alert’ and ‘mind blown’ moments. A video from SDCC released of him sitting down to chat with TV Guide Magazine’s Marisa Roffman about the next season of Westworld & who his dream co-star would be. Netflix announced it’s episode titles for Black Mirror Season 4 with a teaser trailer that included a scene from Jimmi’s episode USS Callister. Jimmi was announced to be starring in Netflix’s Errol Morris mini series Wormwood. A photo teaser released from Jimmi’s Black Mirror episode. He attended the Esquire Celebrates September Issue’s ‘Mavericks of Style’. An announcement that Jimmi would be joining the Black Mirror panel at Paleyfest released online. A teaser for Unsolved was published to USA Network’s facebook page featuring a voiceover by Jimmi as well as a fellow cast mate. Jimmi attended the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards at Microsoft Theater as well as HBO’s Post Emmy Awards Reception at The Plaza at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, California.

October and November; USA released a second Unsolved teaser as well as a trailer for the first season. Psych: The Movie’s premiere date was announced. Jimmi attended the PaleyFest in New York for Black Mirror. Cheatsheet released an interview with Jimmi. He attended ( as well as participated in ) the Young Storytellers’ 14th Annual Signature Event ‘The Biggest Show’ at The Novo by Microsoft in Los Angeles, California. Westworld Season One: The Maze released. Jimmi starred in a Horror Double Feature which included two (original) classic cult horror movies (performed live on stage) on November 13th (at 10pm) and November 20th (at 8pm) at Groundlings in Los Angeles, CA. Jimmi directed and edited a trailer for the projects, which you can view here. Jimmi celebrated his birthday on November 21st!

December – one of the busiest months this year with the numerous projects releasing; The official trailer released for Wormwood by netflix. The new keyart/poster was released for Black Mirror‘s episode featuring Jimmi U.S.S. Callister as well as the trailer for the episode. Psych: The Movie premiered on USA Network, It received 1.26 million viewers and was the most watched scripted program of the day. Jimmi attended the 2017 GQ Men of the Year party at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California. On December 7th at 8pm at IO West, Jimmi joined a improv team featuring Eric Price (MadTV) and Michael Anastasia (Quick Draw). The six-part docudrama miniseries directed by Errol Morris, Wormwood, premiered on Netflix December 15th. Jimmi was featured in the series as an unnamed character but his performance was one that would be unforgettable to anyone who watched the series. On December 15th, The second trailer for Unsolved debuted; along with it the February 27th premiere date announcement. On the 29th, Netflix’s season 4 of Black Mirror released, Jimmi’s episode was received extremely well among fans and critics.

What To Look Forward To In Early 2018

Coming February 27th, 2018, Jimmi will be starring as Detective Russell Poole in the USA anthology-drama television series Unsolved: The Murder of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. that chronicles the two major police investigations into the murders of Tupac Shakur (Marcc Rose) and Biggie Smalls (Wavyy Jonez).
